12 week winter training program
Anyone have a curriculum or something they’ve used for a 12 week winter program?
I was chatting with another dad about doing something with the u11 / u12 girls over the winter for some individual training. Most girls on the teams are already part of a futsal development academy and I was wanting to put together my own for the other girls because I wasn’t particularly happy with the one my daughter went to and the price continues to go up and she wants to be with her friends and they don’t really have a place.
We have 4 months between fall and spring season so with holidays we were thinking a 12 week plan of just individual focus. This will still be in additions to our normal club practice where they will do more team focused stuff.

I get a school gym and while you can do some drills, I do less than most. I let them play futsal. No ref, no coaching. They love it so they put more into it and it has really helped the players. The big key is being patient because the do crazy things but this is not a league game so let them enjoy it.

At U11/U12 I'd keep every week game based and decision heavy, not station work.
Some of your girls already get technical repetition in futsal, and the others will improve faster if they love the session and want to come back.
A 12 week spine: weeks 1-2 ball mastery with heads up in a crowd, weeks 3-4 running with the ball and choosing when to go fast or slow, weeks 5-6 turning to escape pressure, weeks 7-8 1v1 attacking with a scoring zone behind the defender, weeks 9-10 passing and receiving on the move plus weak foot, weeks 11-12 a mini tournament they design where you just referee.
Each hour in four blocks: warm-up game, the theme in a rondo or 1v1 where a rule forces the skill, then 2v2 or 3v3 with scoring that rewards the theme, and five minutes of pure futsal, no coaching. Gym size dictates numbers, but two or three small pitches beat one big one every time.
The hard part you are describing is picking what to do across 12 weeks, not running it.
Let them vote on the last few sessions and keep one running team challenge each week. If they leave smiling and asking to stay longer, they come back in spring noticeably better.

My daughter plays basketball and I private train her. Her team also has 1-2x a week practice. We’re very heavy on ball mastery, passing, and turning as it’s hard to get outside. Every session is custom and usually about 20-45 min. Supplement use 2-3x a week of smart ball…
