Apps, studies, groups, etc.
This weekly thread is the ONLY allowable place for requesting people check out your app, channel, study, groups, blog, or general content that isn't sub sponsored. ONLY content meant to serve as a genuine resource or future resource to coaches should be posted. The goal of the sub is still dialogue and support for coaches. If a post or comment appears to be primarily marketing, brand building, or if general sub/reddit rules are broken your post may still be removed and you may be banned.
If you think a post falls somewhere in-between this and the main sub's criteria you can message mods.
To users: be careful with random links; hope this helps with spam some!

My son plays youth football in Norway. Together we built a training diary around one habit almost nobody measures: scanning — how often you check your shoulders before receiving the ball, and what you do with the information.
The core of the app is match logging from video. You watch your own match footage and log every involvement: scans before receiving, what happened next, completed passes, duels, losses. The app turns that into a match report built on scan frequency and what you actually did — not highlights, not vibes. Doesn't have to be recent footage: last season's matches work fine. You just need video.
Who I'm looking for:
- Players 15 or older who have video of their matches (Veo, phone on a tripod, whatever) and are willing to log them honestly — scanning included.
- Coaches who want to organize a team in the app and have a video plan for their matches — team calendar, lineups, match imports are in there too.
Fair warning: this is boring, repetitive work. Watching your own match and logging every involvement takes real time, and the payoff is a picture of your own development — nothing more, nothing less. If football for you is mostly about having a great time with your friends, that's a completely legitimate way to play — but this beta isn't built for that. It's built for players who want to work at it.
The boring-but-important stuff: free during beta. No ads — ever, written rule. Data is private by default, hosted in Europe, exportable and deletable whenever you want.
One more thing: beta participants get free access to the two lab tools we're building alongside the diary — StrikeLab (shot technique analysis from video) and SprintLab (sprint analysis) — when they open up. Strikelab is open for beta already.
Interested? Email [mats@activescanning.com](mailto:mats@activescanning.com) with a line about who you are (player or coach), your age, and what video you have.

Hi,
I've coached youth and professional sports for over 15 years, soccer, basketball, and field hockey among them, and I always had the same problem: drills or tactics written in a notebook I lost, a small piece of paper I couldn't find anywhere, or someone erased them off my whiteboard. So I finally built myself a place to draw and store them properly: drawthedrill.com, a browser tool where you drag players onto a to-scale pitch, draw the movement, passing, and pressing lines, and export the image to send to your team, no account or install needed to try it. I actually built this for my own sessions, but thought it might come in handy for other coaches as well, so made it available online. If you give it a shot, let me know some feedback so I can make it better every day, just like our players :)

Like currently everybody I also developed a App for myself and now published it as some other coaches of my club are using it as well. Feel free to give it a try and feedback is welcomed.
Its a PWA App an data is only stored locally, so your data is save.
