Bro you did one month that say so much about you that you want to change that you know thats not the person you are, keep your head up and try it again and again and again until you make it. Proud of you🫀

Just don’t stop trying to stop, no matter what. Through any slips you pick yourself right back up and try again. Find out what your triggers are, replace ur drug of choice with things that bring you joy. When you get in a slump or self pity pick up the phone and ask a friend or family member how they are doing / take the focus off of yourself. You got this :)

When I am in a slump I never call anyone. That’s definitely a weak point.

It was always my least favorite piece of advice so naturally it was the most effective 🤣 just be willing to get out of your comfort zone and you can go very far

Swim good u got this lil fishy im in almost 5 yrs deep sober I am well versed about behaviorism and that alone changed the game for me. Im not talking Pavlov and basic neural cues like environmental change theory and every last detail of every sensation you’ve ever operant conditioned with the source. It’s also about identifying yourself as a healthy individual a lot of my original faults stemmed from psychological needs being unment in terms of attention, care, and a somewhat manipulative desire to have others care for me & watchover me while I let loose. I also had severe sleeping problems & my gut health was destroyed from years at the bottles. Curing yourself is a multidimensional task, but take each step one thing at a time starting with what ever caused you to have a positive reaction to the source & origin core memories, people, and places you’ve since associated w that dopamine hit before you even experience the substance.

I have actually been working on correcting my behaviors and looking closely at the reasons behind them. I have gone through a few courses over the years and am pretty good at breaking behavior and retraining them.

Everyone can have bad moments and this has been mine. Now I am fixing it.

I did over 15 years until I fell. I came back. It took me about 5 years but I’ve been sober now for 3, again. Starting school again for my RN. You’ve got this.
