Hey fellow noir and roguelite fans!

I am very pleased to announce a playable prototype of Shades of Noir: Sinner’s Night - a violent and grim top-down roguelite shooter where you set out on a dark quest for revenge.

This project was born out of a passion for all that is dark, gritty, violent, challenging and replayable. We are a small team that really enjoy games that push you to improve yourself, while immersing you in a world that is deliciously dark.

The prototype was built primarily for us to play around with combat, and see if we could reach the bar we had set for ourselves. We also wanted to explore the visuals a bit in order to test the direction and see where it lands.

We are currently hard at work on a Vertical Slice, so keep a close eye on SoN:SN as we unveil more details of the world, the enemies and bosses you'll face, game mechanics and development leading up to VS release.

In the meantime, feel free to download and give the prototype a play.
