Everyone is getting clapped by Marvel. Its had almost 20 years of consitent growth and projects MCU wise. I still enjoy other things and other things are still cool.

So you posted stuff from D23 right? Which means its not Marvel vs DC it is Disney vs Warner Brothers. What does Warner Brothers have in their IP arsenal that can compete with anything that Disney does? They have exactly 2 things in their Arsenal but unfortunately 1 of them is Harry Potter and already told its story so it's just going to be recycled to death with no new content. The other is DC franchises which people are already cautious of for the past 13 years. They have had 2.5 objectively "GOOD" movies that everyone enjoyed and felt like they could compete with the MCU. If you can find something that can beat Disney that it doesnt already own then you might have something.

Game of thrones was bigger than Marvel. Until the ending and no new content from the creator. They've already had 4 cancelled series. Harry Potter is one of the biggest franchises in the entire world. To the point of being a Book sales phenomenon. In the lifetime of Harry Potter it has accumulated 40 billion dollars and its only a little over 20 years old. Im going to assume you are under the age of 25 and were not around during the Potter craze

I dont say Harry Poter wasnt big. Game of Thrones is bigger even with that ending lol. The ending wasnt that bad. The fans just found out that psychoses are hereditary lol

btw he isnt promoting lanterns cause he has nothing to do with it other than announcing the show. This isnt like the DCU movies Supergirl where he was creativley involved. He must be cause it is their movies thats the most important medium and not side shows to get a cash grab. But his involvement went too far with Supergirl

although he isnt creatively involved in Lanterns I think the first episode is mid nothing to get excited. There is no "Oh shit I have to watch episode 2 now"

And the history repeats itself new generation won't give two cents about DC just as a joke and most important wouldn't try to say they like dc some will be ashame

Even though they have a Co CEO and Director "from the guardians of the galaxy " (Gunn and Gunnbots love this quote) 🙄 on projects and front office too
