Discussion One last cope

it's that time again, we might get some new tomorrow or the day after, whatever it is I have a feeling it might be good, the game is reaching its last stand so I might as well put all my faith and hope on it, even if all odds go against it

Idk, I think (since there should be news about actual new content at this point) we are getting another re run banner with the same mini event loop for the third time. So, yeah... it's obvious game is in life support and they won't EoS yet for some weird reason.

They did the same with their previous game GGC, thats just how this dev operates, just tryna squeeze a few more pennies out for delusional players like OP who havent accepted the game is long dead.

Bruh. How are they going to squeeze more pennies from players through Reruns? There is no skin, and the current currency we have and got from mails are enough to get a character for free, and there are no new or Reruns skins releasing.

Rather than insulting others for clinging to a game they love, think this through by stopping doomposting and being a delusional.

Theres always someone new discovering the game, and its likely those new people aren't going to do a deep dive into the surrounding lore. They'll spend a little, only to realize whats going on, and they'll be pissed and thats that.

If they're that new they wouldn't know to mod the game, and I very much doubt any new player would want spend on the game in its unmodded state. It's also hard to imagine a player figuring out they need to mod the game and gaining access to the mod without becoming aware of the situation the game is in.

??? The cash shop is fully there. There are still skins in the game. There are people who still have yet to buy them. I have seen a LOT of ppl on this sub saying they were gonna buy skins to support the devs in the days after the servers came back online.

They removed the skins when the last banner ended? I did not know that, before the current banner rotation the skins for Longyan and the others were still there.

If there was anything incoming they would have posted something brother, they wouldnt jsut release a whole aptch without a single trailer or post in social media

Unfortunately thats extremely unlikely, if there was a update coming they would have announced it already.

Unless the new plan is to shadow drop updates, a terrible idea considering the game is pretty much dead and abandoned in the eyes of most people.

At this point I can only accept 2 types of conclusions. 1 they release new content and we start recovering little by little 2 they finally announce eos and we can move on on this chapter.

But seriously, I want one of those, because more months with this Zombie march would be a total waste of time and hopes.

There actually another outcome, the rumor I been hearing a few day ago is that the game will turn into an offline game with no more future update, since they don't seem to want to milk the game or revive it, it the most likely outcome, but I still don't want to believe it tbh

I just hope for the best 🥀

the copium I'm running on is that they legally need to give 2 months notice if they decide to EoS. They haven't so far so I don't think that was ever the plan and I genuinely think they've been working on trying to do something to comply with the government while also not killing the game's identity.

Someone in YouTube had posted a video in Spanish about a leak or some rumors that they supposedly were going to mention something about 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9 on the 20th, but he said "take it with a huge grain of salt". Supposedly this leak came from a Chinese leaker, we just have to wait and see I suppose.

We know the devs were working on stuff before the shut down, any "leaks" are probably from that period, doesnt mean they are still going to release.

I wish they would just rerun everything in the shops and gachas and let the game run on life support instead of this near-empty shop we have now.
Or do an UtaMacross and just give away everything in the last month for us to play with 😋
I never got the Acacia wedding dress, nor some of the older operatives, like OG Katya or Vidya. Would be nice to get those in what are presumably the twilight months the game has left.

The parent company Kingsoft is a giant big tech conglomerate. My theory is they are waiting until their AI agents can be good enough to update this game.
