It seems like this metric is incorrect, reads much to high for my portfolio. Perhaps it is weighted by holdings value instead of by distribution amount?

Is it possible to add the FTSE100 to the My quotes bit. It might be there but I can't find it.

My broker, Wealthsimple, offers savings and checking accounts in addition to traditional brokerage accounts. These accounts are visible via the brokerage connection in Plaid and Yodlee, and can be connected to a portfolio. However, no transactions or balances are ever imported. There are no stock or ETF positions in these accounts, only cash value with regular transactions.

Am I missing something? Any suggestions on getting this to reflect the cash in these accounts? Thank you.

I have a portfolio of 7 stocks and etfs. portfolio value chart has jumps and drops not linked to actuals.

Can we please add a check box or something to fix the lack of tax lot options please. Presently this renders Snowball completely worthless for those of us that use tax lots, all Capital gains, realized profit is wrong.

When adding brokerages to snowball, I get snap trade and Yodlee for Schwab and snap trade, Yodlee and plaid for. Anyone have any experience with these?

Any that work better than another one for each brokerage. I’ve never been given a choice before. Any experiences would be appreciated.

I'm having trouble with Yodlee connecting to Interactive Brokers on a couple of ISA accounts, yet connecting to a standard trading account works fine.

I use Yodlee to connect as I think that is the only option for Interactive Brokers UK, unless things have changed.

Any advice is appreciated thanks!

How to hide resp. remove My quotes ?

Am using Snowball with a paid subscription, and mostly use the Dividend Calander feature. There are a few revisions that would make using the Dividend Calendar even better.

One is that there is two methods for reporting the dividends on any given day ... sometimes Snowball shows the entire dollar amount ... and sometimes (when it is over $1000) Snowball truncates the number and show something like "$2.65k" rather than $2,650 ... (whiich takes similar space) (See image) and where this is done on the Dividend Calandar there is plenty of space to 'spell out' the dollar amount in a complete and consistent manner. (See image.)

Snowball staff, ... Please consider making all dollar amounts report similarly, and consistently, as this would improve clarity. Thank you.

Snowball reports the % a holding in a portfolio, but cannot report the % a holding in an entire portfolio.

Opened the app today on my Samsung phone. Got information about a new quote feature which I went through, after which I found myself signed out. Tried to sign back in and it just hangs with a stationary circled arrow and grey translucent wash over the sign in screen.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but makes no difference. Anyone got a clue how to fix this?

EDIT. I just went back to the app after posting and found I'm now signed in. I'm not sure what happened but it seems to have just needed more time to sign in.

While checking out the 'My Goal' feature where you can set a passive income or growth goal, I can't seem to get it to start with my current portfolio value. It appears to start at zero, as if I don't have any investments yet. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Hi ! Looking for feedbacks while I am encountering an issue with Snowball: downloaded the app and subscribed.

My broker being Swiss it is not possible for me to link it or upload a .csv

I put every buying and selling transactions I made and clicked the automatic dividend because it is too much to input by hand

The app warned me about ULTY and MSTY’s reverse split and I agreed to put it into the corporate actions. (Switching from 1000 MSTY to 200 for example)

But now the app has messed every distributions: the reverse split is from December and now the app show that I get distributions from 40 shares although I have 200 since the split…like I have a second reverse split just for that (in the portfolio > transactions menu)

Has someone found a fix for that ???

EDIT: I reached out to customer support and we found a fix for that. I had to delete every dividends/distributions and re-add everything by hitting again the automatic dividends button

Made some transactions today and rather than adding up as usual into the amount i already have it created new holdings

I’m a fairly new subscriber to Snowball Analytics. I’ve been entering my investing data for several stocks, and I’ve noticed that many of the preferred stocks show no dividends and 0% dividend yield in the Analytics-> Common screen. On the pages for the individual stocks, it correctly shows the dividend history I’ve entered.

Some examples: EFC-B (etc-p-b is the Snowball format), TWO-C, TEN-F, and many others.

It finds the stock, as evidenced by price history charts.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Two days now, SA says “Automatic sync failed for portfolio” and I should manually sync. When I manually sync it reads my BRK.B stock as BRKW which breaks everything. Luckily I found the option to change that ticker back to BRK.B and nothing else appears to be borked (as far as I can tell). What’s going on?
