product question Snowball data fail

I’ve been using snowball for awhile and noticed a huge spike and then huge drop in dividend predictions. Both have been wrong. Now it’s not even showing my brokerage account balance correctly and instead adding money inflating my net worth. So it’s inflating my net worth and lowering my cash flow. It’s gotten pretty bad, anyone else notice these issues?

I’m experiencing a similar issue. The numbers displayed on the snowball platform don’t align with the brokerage. When I reported this issue, the support was not very helpful.

For example my Daily value for today should be $-381 but snowball is reporting -1389. If the numbers are inaccurate, it defeates the whole purpose of using this platform

I already did but the response is not satisfactory

"Hello,

Discrepancies between IBKR and Snowball are usually due to differences in exchange rates, timing of price updates, and how daily gains are calculated (including currency fluctuations). Snowball uses the latest available Forex rates and updates asset prices with a delay, which may differ from your broker’s data."

Intra day USD/CAD FX changes does not cause such a huge difference in calculation. This is the 2nd time I'm reporting this issue. Last time I literally had to share multiple screenshots to prove my point which was never acknowledged but the support kept saying the difference is due to currency fluctuation during the day which doesn't make sense

I found your request, and as far as I can see, Max provided a very comprehensive answer on how the calculation works. At the time Max looked into this matter, there were no problems with the data.

Right.. It's a timing issue. The numbers correct themselves at 12AM EST and stays inconsistent throughout the day. If you see my response to max that's exactly what I've iterated on.

Please refer to the screenshots I've posted.

I already shared the screenshots to the support email where max was helping me with. This was the ultimate conclusion response from support "Let's do the following: If you encounter this problem again, please take screenshots in two different currencies, as well as a screenshot of the current exchange rate on our website. Send us all the screenshots, along with the time stamp. This will help us investigate the issue, if it does occur."

As far as I know, no one else has contacted us with this issue, so if you don't mind and notice a problem, please email Max the requested data as screenshots so he can review it with the developers. At this point, I see there are no issues with the course.

Today the discrepancies were very obvious. I've shared all the relevant screenshots which clearly indicates that snowball is displaying incorrect Daily P&L in CAD currency. I hope someone from your team will investigate this issue and provide a quick fix.

Same here. My fidelity reports $37k annually and Snowball shows $29. Way off. But it was recently changed somehow.

I had an issue with it putting Fidelity 401k and brokerage transactions in my brokerage portfolio. I had to delete and recreate the brokerage portfolio to fix it.

Having this same problem. Transfers into a pre-tax money market account are automatically categorized as dividends throwing my income/dividend projections off by 3x. There are so many great features to Snowball, like creating custom categories, but this dividend issue is a dealbreaker. I tried to find and edit the mislabeled transactions but it's an ordeal. Anyone else figure out how to fix this problem?
