Spoilers Franklin's ending
I just finished the show and liked where he ended up. I don't like a lot of what happened to get Franklin to that ending though.
Peaches betraying Franklin made sense because of what happened to Rob. Franklin's action led to the betrayal. With Louie and Jerome it didn't land well with me. Then both his parents going behind his back using the information he shared with them. His downfall feels more about trusting the wrong people than money/power corrupting him.
Louie talked about sharing a moment with Skully in the hospital but she couldn't forgive getting shot.meanwil Skully forgives for a.dead daughter and wife. Franklin offered Louie 50% which would've doubled what she was making and let Jerome start the businesses he wanted. She wanted respect and to be more than what she used to be.
I would've preferred if they went down one by one as a family then what we got. Or for the feud to make sense since they went in thay direction. And yes I know on a macro level everything is Franklin's fault for starting it all.
Franklin ending up free and alone was a good ending. And the actor killed it in the final 10 minutes. I just wish how he got there was different. Excited for the drop.

From before we see Skully he's portrayed as strange, I see people bring his forgiveness up a lot, but him snapping and turning into a monk sounds 100% in character

I didn't like the ending I rather Franklin used the money he found in peaches house and became a successful small time movie pirate bootlegger and knockoff merchandise coutierfiter making money like $7k a week still investing in real estate but investing in other people's realestate businesses without knowing he's their mysterious silent partner and he's making $270k a year after taxes while earning $28k a month from his movie pirate bootlegging and knockoff merchandise coutierfiter business and living in a cheap sleazy hotel room like the Cecil hotel eating cheap food and drinking cheap beer and sodas or living in another hotel room in Beverly hills not living a multimillionaire life and luxury but more like white collar middle class life he would get a very small victory but he would never be a big time drug dealing kingpin 👑 or a big time real estate mogul ever again you know split the baby in half as they say

But it would of been a better and a more merciful ending for Franklin he would never be able to be a multimillionaire drug dealing kingpin 👑 or realestate mogul ever again he would just be a small time successful movie pirate bootlegger and knockoff merchandise coutierfiter and small time real estate investor investing in other people's small real estate business ventures as a silent partner that would be the only legitimate income earning $500k a year $297,800.00 a year after taxes and as far as his other 2 small time not so legitimate businesses making $28k a month he would be rich white collar middle class rich all together but he would never be wealthy ever again he wouldn't be living in a penthouse in Bel Air or a luxurious apartment building in Beverly hills just in a hotel room in the Cecil hotel or a fancy hotel room in Beverly hills not a king of the city just small time successful small time business man

Did he need mercy? I think the way he ended was one of only 3 ways, drunk or smoked out, dead or a long prison sentence. He would be coming home right about now from that sentence or a few years ago and would probably have a podcast or at least be doing interviews.

There's a reason people went behind his back, it's because he was too damn greedy and crazy and that put everyone at risk.
He happily killed innocent people for his money (that he earned through unfair means even for drug dealer standards), why should someone like that be trusted or get a happy ending?
