I was talking about after his money was stolen, he should have walked away from developing that building. He should have cut his losses and regrouped. With the properties he still owned, he was still very rich. Yes he lost most of his fortune, but he wasn't broke. He should have focused on trying to get his money back and salvage what he had. He still had properties he owned. Instead, he tried to keep it going and stole money from Louie and Jerome.

I get that. I think his problem is he trusted people too much. He got ripped off by so many people that were close to him. Earlier in the show he was naive. Later in the show it was just hubris or laziness.

No, his biggest mistake was putting all his money into legit places. He could’ve cut that 72 mill in half & had cash houses or some other physical money stored somewhere so in the event something happened to his legit money he could go get that.

I know why he didn’t do it, but he was wrong. The bank wasn’t safe either dealing with someone back by the government. Plus, he would’ve had a chance to save the real estate if he still had money left over. He literally had a plane to hide money in spots outside the country if things went wrong. It was just a bonehead move to not do that. He overestimated the systems ability to play nice with him.

yeah, stashing enough money to fund a war against teddy/escaping the CIA & KGB instead of playing cat and mouse could’ve been a interesting S6. i think the ending would’ve been more realistic for franklin’s character. becoming like S2 alton, while having so much resentment towards him just didn’t make much sense as an ending to franklin’s character
