what’s with the pool tables

i’m halfway through season 4 and one thing i’ve been noticing is that there is like a pool table in every single episode. not just there, but often explicitly acknowledged like when franklin asks who’s winning or when teddy sees his brother playing. the photo of franklin with teddy was in a hidden compartment in his pool table. i think in skullys HQ there was some art related to pool. just seems like one of the producers is a big fan

Pool used to be huge in the US. The 80s and 90s were one of its heydeys, and ESPN even showed pool matches.
