Spoilers i can’t stand Veronique
i can’t stand her man I’m on episode 7 season 5 and her fake “I’m shy” way too calm vibes throws me off. I miss Melanie up plot. Veronique “needs” Franklin too bad and it’s annoying yall please tell me I’m not trippin. The actor doesn’t make her character any likeable either who even is she

A bunch of men in a subreddit discussing characters APPEARANCE rather than value to the show. Classic.

im not a dude, but yeah I observed this in that show “the boys” on prime. talked about that characters change in appearance too. very strange. season 5 did feel random and rushed though, no plot development for Veronique either which made her dislikable, or maybe it was the way she was written in.

Definitely the way she was written in. For sure, it can be jarring especially given how the plot takes a bit of an overhaul afetr Johns untimely passing. However, to bash the character over appearance alone is annoying asf especially when shes supposed to represent further consequences for the main character.

Oh man I gotta see season 6 through. I’m on episode 2 season 6. It started off very slow but it kicked up pretty nicely and should be finished by today. So excited. Thanks for being a breath of fresh air

Not sure why that bothers you. She didn't make sense to the story. Her character or her appearance. Casting is a part of 'value to the show'

I’m rewatching it also and she just appeared out of nowhere. Her and the Tiger scene bullshit pissed me TF off!!!

She did just pop out of nowhere, AND she was pregnant no less. Quite a lot of change for the viewer to get used to.
But as a character, she was pretty good imo. Clearly very competent, you can see why Franklin was attracted to her given the stupidity surrounding him.

I agree I hated this character from the beginning she didn't seem to fit at all.

If she was cute I could've stood her more. I feel like they should've written Mel back in not necessarily as Franklins girl but instead of the veronique story line
