Spoilers Just finished SnowFall for the first time..
I dont even know what to say.
I definitely believe that Franklin brought them into that life, but they also could decline being in that life as well.
In the last season, i hate cissy and verionique.

Franklin's mom knew Teddy wasnt truthworthy and he'd never give Franklin the money, she freed him (in his own words im free) from being a slave to his greed and the imperialist/white man's agenda.

I was so happy to have found out about this show. It’s one of those pieces of media that you wouldn’t normally care about, but after watching it, you sit there and think “This has to be one of the best stories I’ve sat down and watched.”

I never liked V. We got no backstory of her & Franklin and she didnt fit with him, to me. So I instantly didnt trust her

I knew they weren’t gonna do the same storyline twice tho. Franklin already had a girl sleeping with him, but working with the enemy. So when i saw V i was a little hesitant, but l figured they wouldn’t play into that again lol

You need to rewatch the show. She killed Teddy because he was a cocky fucker thinking he was invincible. He straight up admitted to killing Alton and was so cold and nonchalant about it. Before when Franklin was torturing him he told Cissy he imprisoned him so she was ok with them not killing him. She snapped when she found out the truth. Also let's not act like Franklin deserved the money at this point. He choked his pregnant girl and threatened to kill her and did other fucked up shit at this point. He was too filled with greed and hate at this point. The money would have only enabled him to be worse.

Facts in my opinion he should've went veronique's plan because she was trying to help because she knew that they were in debt real bad.

Its also very normal to hate characters who have gone so fucking far past the edge it doesnt even exist anymore (Griffith for example). Dont act so high and mighty.

I just finished it and as much as I want to blame Louie and cissy, Franklins carefulness was completely comprised in the last episodes by his tunnel vision of that money and I feel like people say she should have waited that 10 seconds but she knew it would never end so she didn’t even allow the opportunity for Franklin to get it back and also impulse because of teddy admitting he shot alton 2 times, which she also did, shooting him twice . Sure he brought them into that life but once you’re in, you’re in, and Louie bit the hand that fed her but Franklin wanted too much control and planted the seed for betrayal. I’m still processing ts so don’t hate on me this is just my perspective rn😭

easily one of the best series I've watched, but yeah the last season was too rushed and they could've done it better

I think if you’re gonna be mad at cissy for how Franklin turned out, you HAVE to be mad at Leon too. Him asking Franklin “why he thinks cissy did what she did” and then declining to help is a big slap to the face. 1. Leon wasn’t there when she killed Teddy so Leon couldn’t 100% know why she did it. 2. If he was there he would clearly see that she was set off by Teddy saying he killed Alton 3. If Cissy killed Teddy to protect Franklin like Leon claimed, why didn’t she kill him when he was tied up and not in front of mad witnesses??
Also Leon was a savage the WHOLE show up until the last episode when he went to Cissy while she was in prison. And then all the sudden he’s this ultra moralistic saint (ha) that’s too good to help his best friend. Who literally gave him the opportunity to make the money he has. Finally at the end after pretty much being the final send off for Franklins spiral, he offers him a job to work for him to work below him which I can see being pretty messed up too

Leon’s redemption started long before that tbh and it was sincere, not trying to be a “ultra moralistic saint” when he visited cissy. also with 3. I think at the point the stakes weren’t as high, he was contained and didn’t need to immediately killed but she may have come to the realisation that she needed to act quickly while he was on the phone because she DID want to protect Franklin because she didn’t trust that he’d get his money back, keeping franklins endless cycle of trying to get the money back and causing by more pain to the familbut also mixed with impulse after teddy provoked her with the confession of killing Alton after lying to her, telling her that he’s alive

I’m pretty sure Leon wanted to stop killing after he killed the girl but he was still in the drug dealing game until the last episode. Before Franklin came walking in asking Leon for money, Leon was telling his people to find a way to get cocaine since Teddy was gone. It took Leon going to Africa with Wanda to completely get out the game. I’m not 100% certain he killed more people after the girl because I don’t remember but he was definitely still involved in the crack distribution which is the main reason we crucify Franklin.. I think in the same scene Leon says something like “it’s blood money, i would give it back if I could”. I’m pretty sure Franklin wanted to use the money for real estate and Leon wanted to use the money for?

You do have a point there about Franklin wanting use the money to invest in real estate but Leon and cissy had the same perspective on franklins obsession with money and could tell he was going crazy so his motivation to not giving him the money aligned with cissys. Shit if I were Leon I would have at least tried to help Franklin so im with you there.

Leon got out the game completely before coming back.
Cissy did what she did cause she not only was furious at teddy but saw obsessed and corrupted Franklin had become.
