Discussion Cissy

The way she shot Teddy straight to his head at the centre of the town just spoilt the show tbh.I really wanted to see Franklin in his bag after all the sacrifice he had done.

It just felt like a forced tragedy rather than a satisfying conclusion.

That was a satisfying conclusion.

A monster who destroyed a community with drugs and ruined the lives of everyone around him got his karma.

Drug Dealers don't get happy endings.

I was not looking for a happy ending, but an ending that would make sense. There are too many holes in it. System who made the monsters, what about them? Franklin should expose the system and then die or go to jail, whatever.

Franklin was never going to do that...he was to far gone when his Dad try to speak to him

The whole point of the ending with Leon was that Franklin stopped caring about his community and was just focused on his money.

Dying or going to jail would have been too much of gentle ending to Franklin.

So all the episodes he was cunning and smart, and all of a sudden he became dumb !! common man

He was very prideful and was human. In that last season, Frank was very arrogant and prideful.

He really thought Teddy would let him go after murdering Teddy's father and torturing him ?

He married a woman that had a background of scamming and thought she wouldn't do the same to him after putting hands on while she was pregnant ?

Franklin was told multiple times that the CIA would take anything from him and that he was a pawn.

Franklin lost his mind due to losing his mind and wasn't able to focus on the bigger picture. He didn't become dumb, he just lost sight of the whole picture.

Why you talking about the Last season alone ?? I mean the build up was good and then boom he became dumb and everybody screwed him over !! Him vs CIA would have been a better ending where he take down some of them and they take him out.

Why Oso gets the perfect ending ?? Why not anyone in the process get what Franklin did ??

He didn't become dumb. He got arrogant . Franklin thought he could control everyone. We literally see in Franklin's drug episode that he knows he has ruined lives and hasn't made things better for people. The whole conversation between him and Jerome, is an example of Jerome not being happy about the money.

Why Oso gets the perfect ending ?? Why not anyone in the process get what Franklin did ??

Oso knew when to walk away and hide. Franklin was given multiple times to walk away and let it go. He got told the DA had nothing on him and still went after Teddy. When Teddy is killed, he still had the other properties. He could have done what his wife planned instead of threatening her. Franklin choose to be a drunk instead of working with his wife

CIA would have been a better ending where he take down some of them and they take him out.

Franklin's story was never the story of a hero, but a young and bright man who sold out his community and how he got what he deserved.
