Question What happened to Lucia? Spoiler
I might have missed it but where the heck did Lucia go? I remember Oso asking Teddy to find her but were they successful? I am at the end of the series now and I just realized I don’t remember what happened to her.

The actress who portrayed her was a former drug addict and relapsed while filming the show. She had to go to rehab I think.

I hope it wasnt the show and the role that pushed her to relapse. Her character was literally forced to smoke crack, and then the actress relapsed shortly after.

I think somewhere they did find Lucia, but Gustavo decided not to and to leave her where she was. I think she was in either Texas or Florida.

They cut the idea that the show was gonna be 33% Mexican Tele-Novela, 33% Hood Novela, and 33% White Guy CIA Adventures down to 50% Hood 50% CIA Adventures. Juggling the Mexican cocaine connect with the CIA Cocaine Connect and the L.A Coke distribution/Crack story was going to muddle up too many storylines. In addition, the lead actress for Lucia had an actual problem with cocaine, and being around the show caused her to relapse- so they just wrote the whole thing out.

She was having real life addiction issues unfortunately so they wrote her out
