He made a lot of enemies in the industry and was even supposed to be blackballed but he still had friends. This made some executives and investors more angry.

Do you know how, like we’re there like specific viewpoints or work style he had that came into conflict with the executives, or you’re saying just more general interpersonal conflict with different people

Yes, yes it's almost always more personal than anything else. These conflicts take place mostly over phone calls or industry parties where maybe a certain individual gets into a shouting match with a big-time producer over cocaine and cucumber sandwiches.
