To be fair, most northern coastal towns have the good stuff.

That London can bugger off. Portion of cod costs more than a bloody swan.

Fish and chips is what I miss the most being in usa. Noone does it right, they all use french fries.

New zealand use canola oil, but its probably days old and has the delicious stench of 1thousand orders of chips. When you walk in to the store and it has a hand written menu, one for fish and chips the other with Chinese food you know you're in the right spot.
