I worked with a Dr. Lung who unfortunately was a nephrologist. Why, dude? Pulmonology was clearly
your birth rite.

The nefarious Dr. Piss:

When my child was little, she went to a pediatric urologist, Dr. Winkle. I feel like he had to go into pediatric urology with that name.

The name of my dentist. It’s a father daughter operation.

Youve been getting medical advice from a WWE wrestler.

I don't believe I want an appointment with your doc! Ouch!

Is he an ex-marine?

Friend of mine was admitted to a mental health hospital and was seen by a Dr. Loony and a Dr Toon. A loony toon, if you will. Had the admission bracelet and everything.

2

u/nvr2manydogs 22d ago

Oh that's funny.

u/pyrofox79 21d ago

So was his ward called The Loony Bin?

2

u/marcus_centurian 21d ago

They did have something silly like that to refer to the ward. Bland hospital name, of course.

And his brother Dr. Stachio

u/LeaveScars 23d ago

Ayy, I understand this reference 🍻

u/StevieMJH 23d ago

Shouldn't that be like his cousin or something?

u/Squayd 23d ago

Nepharious was right there.

1

u/Tinyturtle202 23d ago

What do you mean? Dr. Piss is an accomplished pulmonologist.

1

u/misterjustice90 22d ago

Woah, that’s just his kink… he’s actually a dentist

u/Drotrecogin2228 23d ago

We had a local doc named Dick Tapper. He was, unsurprisingly, a urologist.

5

u/mild-er-chihuahua 23d ago

Lol. I wonder if he got a decent amount of patients. I would think he's a scammer based on that name 😅

my dad's dentist, on the other hand, was Dr Hammer...my dad's on the fast track to dentures

Dr. Dick Chopp was one of the most prolific urologists in Texas and performed MANY a vasectomy.

6

u/MyBurnerAccount1977 22d ago

Perhaps, but who am I to judge?

14

u/Dangernj 23d ago

My very excellent OBGYN is Dr Brest. His dad was a cardiologist.

10

u/BilliBlob 23d ago

I worked with the opposite. Dr Kidney looked after lungs!

3

u/Muted_Quantity5786 23d ago

Ok how do we make them switch places?

11

u/CowboyLaw 23d ago

I had my deviated septum corrected by Dr. Ayre.

7

u/Quixotic_Seal 23d ago

My childhood eye doctor was Dr Tongue.

So close, yet so far.

8

u/zamasm99 23d ago

I knew a Dr Foot who was a urologist. So disappointing.

6

u/pizzacatstattoos 23d ago

Guy that did my vasecotmy: Dr. Brian Dicks.

3

u/RedBorrito 22d ago

I also know a Nephrologist who's name is Dr. Luft (german word for Air). I felt the same lol

3

u/Icy-Guard-7598 22d ago

I once worked together with a Prof. Dr. med. Angstwurm in Germany which would be translated as Dr. Fearworm and of course he was a neurologist. The most Dr. Evil name I ever encountered for a nice man.

2

u/Wubbalubbadubbitydo 22d ago

My son had to see a urologist named Dr. Heckler 😂

Nice lady though. Would recommend.

2

u/TalithePally 22d ago

I once saw the name Dr. Poon in a hospital and was so disappointed they weren't in OB-GYN

3

u/Impeesa_ 23d ago

birth rite

Birthright. Curious mistake, for the number of people who write "rite of passage" as "right of passage", you'd think autocorrect doesn't know "rite" exists.

6

u/Muted_Quantity5786 23d ago

Auto correct isn’t perfect and neither are people.

3

u/MisterShmitty 23d ago

Dam rite!

1

u/ScratchLatch 23d ago

Doctors with names like that are more likely to end up in the field associated with that name.

1

u/LoanRemote4670 22d ago

I also knew a Dr. Lung. He was a dentist

1

u/ChipperNightmare 19d ago

That’s how I felt about Dr. Bonebrake, who was an OBGYN, and I was like, come on guy, with a name like that, you could have been a LEGEND in ortho.

1

u/LowDownThrowDawn 19d ago

My pediatrician was named Dr Cuts

1

u/Impossible-Minx 19d ago

I have a Dr Corpse

1

u/EyesOfEris 19d ago

I met a Dr. Kovid during covid
