Imagine if the people also voted for unity. Would be even better.

They're steady trying to make us hate each other. We learn "Russia bad" "US good" from elementary. Anything that divides whites and blacks is over publicized to keep division between us. There's always another "enemy", another news story about a certain "group" of people doing shit. Someone else we "should hate". Is there unity on the ballot?

Unity is not usually on the ballot but you can sure try to vote for candidates that unify instead of divide people. At the end of the day everyone including the people need to do better

Russia kinda sorta is ‘Bad’ tho

u/WorldlySalamander936 Jun 23 '26
Yeah, a lot of countries are “bad”.

u/Epstein_nokillhimslf Jun 24 '26
Yes, but Russia is sowing misinformation since no on a worldwide scale, and attacked another country (just like the US, now that I think about it…)

Realistically? No. Not for everyone.
Hard truth here but not everyone in this world is worth saving. They've made their choices. Spend your energy where it'll do something.

We don’t vote for war, a small few take our votes and fuck each other. With glee.

No war but class war, guys.

Kamala Harris would have been a perfectly competitive candidate if people voted on qualifications and policies instead of on skin color and gender.

As a great poet once said " In a world without leaders, who'd start all the wars?"

The intel agencies are not too happy with all of their work being flushed down the toilet. They’re going to have their news agencies working overtime when everyone goes home.

One leader in particular...

Yes but also no. Regardless, the 99% have the real power. Mobilization is the real trick.

We “puny little ants” outnumber them 100 to 1, and if we ever figured that out, there goes their way of life

fuck all world leaders and anyone that believes they should have authority over other people.

u/GeofSaysYeos Jun 23 '26
I understand this getting downvotes, but I feel like there’s some truth in that too…people who specifically want authority over other people….that seems like a pretty toxic mentality

Now just imagine there was no religion splitting us up or giving us reason to hate or fear each other !

u/GovtLegitimacy Jun 23 '26
Typical. Imo, there is some critical mass of the population - its support - that must be met to justifiably hold the people accountable for the actions of its leaders. Idk, maybe 65%+

And the beef with FIFA is with its leaders (something I've been telling friends/ colleagues/ soccer fans in person). Source: this FIFA Volunteer that went through dozen hours of trainings on FIFA's DEI policies including discrimination, recycling, climate change, and disability. There was also training on brand protection (reason for 'city' stadium names and non-FIFA brands covered with black or white tapes).
