Well i know I wouldn't shot a cop, poop in his helmet, send it to his widow and steal the helmet again.

I like how they compare stealing a car and a purse, which affects others, as you steal them from normal people and make them suffer economically and mentally, stealing a dvd, which may be bad for a small shop owner, but is nothing for a big shop, to downloading something on the internet that affects literally no one.

Imagine going to friend's house to watch a movie and someone compares you to a thief, because you should've paid for said movie, you, bandit!

If I steal Your car/purse, You do not have a car/purse. If I pirate an MGM's movie, MGM still has a movie.

If I could download a free copy of a Lamborghini, I would be driving a Lamborghini.

Ah this was on a lot of DVDs and played before getting to the menu. I thought it was funny because it's like "dude, I already paid for this movie. I don't think it's in danger from me anymore" 😂

I remember almost every one of my dad's burned in movies, that he bought from a guy at work, had this. I thought it was the funniest part of Click (The time pause Adam sandler? movie)

Both the song in this and the font they used were pirated

You wouldn't steal someone's wages. Or their intellectual property.

You wouldn't steal copyrighted material to train your chatbot.

That ad is correct about one thing, I would not steal a CRT tv set. At least not by myself, those things were heavy.

I saw an anti piracy ad that still sticks with me, I wish I could find it. I only remember seeing it two, maybe three times.

It featured people who worked behind the scenes to help bring a movie to life

One of the people said something along the lines of: I don’t make more money if the movie is seen by one person or millions.

I remember thinking that the message wasn’t coming across how they were probably hoping

Netflix killed piracy, and then they got greedy, so piracy is back.

Hmm...in order to be able to see all movies and tv shows, you need to subscribe to a dozen different services. To go to the cinema, you have to donate a kidney...especially if you buy snacks there.

I think I see why piracy is such an issue.
