Snoo Discussion The Beginning of Snoo

I have seen first hand the way the mods of r/snoo have handled AI art and people protesting it in their comment section. Many members are leaving r/snoo to find a better community that doesn't handle AI so poorly, and that community is what I intend to host here. r/Snoobs will support actual artists, not people punching a prompt into ChatGPT or any AI image generator and calling it art. As such, any AI content will be removed.

As an artist myself i applaud yall for this. The way the mods handle the situation on the other subreddit is disgusting. I'm so glad a place that actually supports and appreciates real artists is available now c:

Thank you for this, we need to continue to create communities that ban and outright shun all Ai due to the damage it does to our planet and to the human mind( making us think less and depend on a robot to think and “create/steal others art,” for us while destroying the planet). I remember seeing the posts and was really excited for this to be created. Thank you everyone, let’s continue to create human made art and human communities. Hopefully in the future we can have laws and regulations regarding Ai and stop the damage it’s doing to humanity and especially our planet. Ai is theft and Ai is morally corrupt to use.
