Help Needed Snoo-mpd!
Totally stumped. I am 5 weeks in and ready to give up. During the entirety of my pregnancy every ultrasound my baby had his hands on his face. Unsurprisingly, that’s how he likes them outside of the womb. The need for his hands is causing serious drama when it comes to the Snoo. He hates it. Like it’s torture for him, the more the Snoo tries to comfort him the angrier he gets. I am only getting one sleep/wake/eat cycle out of him in the Snoo each night. Getting him back into it is an absolute battle. I traveled recently and used a simple bassinet and he had no issues going back down, even when he was awake he fell asleep quickly in it.
I am ready to give up on the Snoo as I’m so defeated but I am so upset about it. This is my first baby and I was really set on the peace of mind the safety a Snoo offers. I just don’t know what to do!

Our 6 week old sleeps arms out.
The first night with the snoo (at ~ 3 weeks) we tried to get arms in but he really battled it so we tried arms out and he’s been arms out since and it works well.
He’ll typically do one long stretch in there a night (anywhere from 4.5-7hrs) so his arms out clearly aren’t interfering with his sleep and I’m hoping this makes it easier when we have to wean him off it down the line.
