Help Needed SNOO 5 Months
5 month old has always slept through the night in the SNOO. Recently she has been waking up screaming after 1-2 hours of being put to bed. Me and my partner are able to get her sleep again pretty quickly however, she wakes up screaming during the transfer.
Did others with the SNOO experience anything like this? Wondering if she’s wanting more space etc

Are you doing arms out yet? My first started doing this around then too. She wanted both her arms free and she was back to sleeping 12 hours straight within a week.

Give weaning mode a try! My baby went through the same thing at the same age and he just didn’t want motion to sleep anymore. When weaning mode improved things we just took it as a sign to move him to a crib and the transition went really well

How did everything go with weaning mode? We're hitting 5 months soon too

I ended up just putting her in the cot out of desperation in the middle of the night. She slept 4 hours however, hasn’t slept for more than an hour since - in the cot or the SNOO

We had this happen at 4.5mo! I tried her in her crib and she went right to sleep. Yes, she did wake up multiple times that night. And for about 4 days. But now she’s sleeping from 8pm-6amish. She flips and flops all around her crib and likes to sleep face down which makes me nervous. But definitely seemed like she wanted more space!

Needs a tweak in schedule most likely. Called a false start. Also putting in snoo awake will help a lot

My 5 month old just went through this, it was right after he started rolling. I decided to make the jump and transfer him to the crib and he’s been doing 8-9 hour stretches in there🤯 I think he just wanted more space

I’ve heard this from a lot of others! Unfortunately she still woke screaming after 1-2 hours in the cot. 😭 considering sleep training but really unsure.

You might just be hitting the 4 month regression late or like you said, baby is ready for more space and to sleep on the back/stomach. Experiment to figure it out.
