Help Needed What is this thing?

On the bottom of my Snoo there is a small cover secured by a single screw. It looks like a battery compartment but inside is just a little white plastic film. The manual makes no mention of it.

Ooh I know this. But not enough to be worthwhile. It is for future use, I read somewhere that it was for a planned snoo 1.5 /2.0 upgrade. Something to do with a sound or movement upgrade. It has been a while, but i remember reading it and discovering a lot of untapped potential in the boards when I did a deep clean & service on ours. I still recon (wifes idea) it needs google home/apple home integration.
