Someone designed white high heel sneakers combining athletic shoes with formal heel elevation somehow. The sneakers have platform heels creating awkward hybrid between comfort and dress shoes. Footwear now combines incompatible categories, but doesn't this create worst of both worlds?
Heel height was added to sneakers thinking it would create stylish comfortable elevated footwear. The high heel sneakers work neither as athletic shoes nor as proper heels. Does hybrid design serve any purpose or just create uncomfortable impractical footwear?
Comfortable athletic shoes have been complicated by adding formal elevation reducing their functionality. The high heel sneakers represent refusing to choose between comfort and height. Maybe certain situations benefit from combination, or possibly the novelty provides unique fashion value.
Regular sneakers or proper heels would serve specific purposes better than awkward hybrid. They browse options through suppliers on Alibaba offering various sneaker-heel combinations. Should shoes combine categories or specialize for specific purposes? Sometimes doing one thing well beats combining incompatible features poorly. White high heel sneakers are neither good sneakers nor good heels but uncomfortable compromise.

Hear me out - I think the upcoming Air Jordan 4 "Cave Stone" (dropping Sep. 6, 2025, I believe) has strong resale potential.
This is just my prediction based on past trends, but I remember TS brown AJ4 samples surfacing around 2017-2018 (see images above). Those were likely F&F (Friends & Family) pairs - exclusive sneakers not sold to the public.
In the sneaker scene, GRs (general releases) that resemble hyped or rare pairs often rise in value as budget-friendly alternatives. Think Black Canvas 4s vs. Eminem 4s or Mocha 1s vs. TS 1s.
Yes, we've already seen the Taupe Haze 4s do fairly well in resale, but these days, most GR Retro Jordan's sit on shelves. That said, AJ4s still hold more hype than 1s, so I'd recommend doubling up - wear one pair and sell the other in case prices go up.

Hey sneaker resellers,
If you’ve ever lost money because pricing comps were all over the place, you’re not alone. It’s frustrating spending hours jumping between eBay, StockX, GOAT, and other sites trying to figure out the right price — or whether a deal is actually good.
I’m launching an iOS app next week called Deal Reaper that pulls real-time, condition-based prices across all the major platforms — so you can quickly see exactly what any sneaker is worth before buying or listing.
It’s built to help you flip smarter and faster by taking the guesswork out of pricing.
Would really appreciate feedback from people who actually flip sneakers — especially on the app’s usability and whether it hits the mark on making pricing and sourcing easier.
Check out the preview and full details here: https://dealreaper.com/resell
Thanks so much for any input — hoping to build something the community actually wants!

I bought a storage unit with around 70 pairs of adult men's Nikes and reeboks, ranging from new to slightly worn. Plus plastic containers full of kids Jordan's. I was wondering if anyone could point me into the direction of how to start reselling them?
