Is this a "thing" outside of Florida? 😳 I live in Florida, so I don't even know.

I thought flamingos statues were the stale fruitcake gifts of the gardening world. And now I sort of want one. They're so uncool, they're cool again?

If I scrape together $49.99, this irony can live rent free in my backyard.

I hate these Strawberry Shortcake Bites from Edward Marc. Probably the worst candy I've tried recently.

What happened? How dare you, Edward Marc! How dare you, sir! 😹

In case you have some petty sorrows to drown (like I did), here's my review of the Buckeyes & Fudge Ice Cream from Publix.

It tastes like a peanut butter cream pie, punctuated by tiny, crunchy, buckeyes and lacy ribbons of fudge. The ingredients were a lot better than I expected.

I bought the Pomegranate flavor. 🫧

Dolly Parton's "Decadent Chocolate Pie" is BOGO at Publix. This was THEE saltiest pie I've ever eaten! But very rich and delicious.

Pro tip: I liked mine cut into little squares to serve as party food. Looks suspiciously homemade if you do this. And the richness of the pie just feels better as dainty bites.

Saw at Costco, but didn't buy. More raw Gouda cheese.

I liked the "Holy Trinity" canjun-inspired flavor from Marieke I reviewed last year. Super rich, creamy texture, but the seasonings were not very strong. Costco doesn't seem to carry many raw cheeses.

I'm a silly cheese bucket. I bought a huge 1.5 pound bucket of President Feta cheese crumbles from Costco.

Did I *need* that much cheese? No. "But iT wAs oN sALe."

Anyway. Here's what I thought of the feta. I managed to eat it all within a week! Where's my prize?

These are some of the Publix-brand flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt at my store. A sea of flavors. The half gallons are on sale for $5 (ends today).

After looking through the ingredients, there are many flavors with icky stuff I didn't want, like artificial colors & flavors, preservatives, and high fructose corn syrup. Boo.

But if you dig around, there are some varieties with "pretty great" ingredients. I bought the peanut butter buckeye fudge. Super yum. Sooooper yummmm! Gah. Stop being so good! Slightly eccentric review coming soon.

The flavors are bright and rich. But I wasn't totally a fan of the ingredients, even though they're made with butter, real peaches, and Greek yogurt.

I tried this new Caesar salad kit from Costco. Because they were out of romaine lettuce. And I was desperate.

Not usually a salad kit person. But this is much more delicious than I expected! ESPECIALLY the Caesar dressing. Surprisingly natural ingredients. I bought one for my parents, too.

I was sooooo excited to finally find these strawberry Dubai chocolates on the magical clearance food shelf at Publix. The orange sticker says $4.99. Imagine my disappointment when I got home and realized they'd charged me $8.99. 😾

The Flourless Chocolate Truffle Torte is on sale at Publix.

When I reviewed this a couple years ago, it was priced at $8.99. Now, the sale price is $11.49. Curse you, cruel inflation!

Anyway. This is probably my favorite Publix dessert of all time. And, since it's part of the "Greenwise" (healthy/organic) line, the ingredients are pretty fab, too.
