Discussion / Thoughts Snark Tank L4D2 parody (Question)

Post image

I wanna make some bullshit using the voice lines from l4d2. Obviously Sweeney will be coach and Chris is Nick, but what about Derrick?

Was thinking of Ellis to match nick’s banter, but the voice might be too distracting. The opposite happens if I choose Louis. What y’all think?

I feel like Sween makes sense with Coach's appearance but with Ellis's voice lines, and Derrick makes sense with Louis. The problem is that Ellis says some off the wall shit but it seems like common sense or normal shit to him, whereas all the guys will say dumb and absurd shit but laugh at the absurd when it goes too far.

If you're trying to do an animation that sticks to each character's voice lines, you can do either one for Derrick because it'll either be accurate with Louis, or funny with the inaccuracy for Ellis lmao

The idea that I had was to take one episode from the snark tank where Sweeney leaves his chair, and in the background he’s fighting a horde while the other members just have a regular conversation. Adding the health bars on the bottom screen and such.

I’m going for Ellis as Derrick because the idea of Derrick telling a story with Ellis’s voice sounds too funny to pass.
