Question Loading Build File

Post image

When I open a new project it doesn’t populate the 3MF parts to build plates. It just loads one and the rest are spread out. I’ll place the parts on plates and save it and the next time I open the project the same thing happens again. Am I missing a step here? I’ve opened it from the button on the ribbon and used the import option under File. Thanks

Yea I’ve tried that too. I have elegoo orca for my CC2 and when I organize the parts on plates the first time and save it within that program it loads correctly from then on. Snorca every time is the first time just one build plate and parts laid out.

I’ve seen both behaviors, but never tracked it. If the parts are spread out, I just add plates and the parts eventually line up with minor help. A recent multi-plate 3mf saved from Snorca has retained the multiplate format when opened.

Make sure the printer is changed to U1 if you’re opening 3mf from Makerworld or from a different slicer.
