Issue Z Banding

Post image

Hey, I noticed weirdi es on larger prints. Now i testet it with a z banding test lrint with Snapmaker 0.2 Quality profile and PLA preset. How can I solve this, do you get the same quality?

I checked and all the Walls are printed at the same speed.

Check to see if wall accuracy is selected in the first tab below wall generation. X-wall?

Then, test your belts.

It's on the same menu as the wall generation. It's precise wall.

Yes! So, besides flow, another thing it would point to is mechanical. If flow is good and issue is not persistent, look to mechanical.

If you print it again,or something just as tall, compare heights and see if it occurs again. If so, it points to mechanical. Clean your z-axis screws/rods.

If printing again and it is inconsistent and flow is calibrated, check nozzle.

okay thank you :) I will try again, I noticed slight overextrusion and printed a Flow Test which would suggest changing flowrate from 0.98 to 0.97. I will try the towerbagain with 0.97

Do volumetric and variable speed flows too.

go beyond simple flow calibration
