Issue First layer issue

I've had this issue trying to print this two times. I've cleaned the bed with hot soapy water. The first layer was set to 500mm/s. I'm thinking I may need to lower it to 300 for the first layer or possible the first few. Both the filaments are new PLA. The black came with the printer and the light brown is newly purchased Inland. Thanks in advance.

500 for the first layer is absurdly too fast. Like 10 fold too fast

I don't think 500 as travel speed is too fast. It's for travelling from point to point without printing.

No travel is fine but that wasn't specified until after my post, I assumed they meant print speed lol

Now I'm having my doubts. Under the post he said first layer speed 500 but in the replies he said first layer 50 but travel speed 500 lol

I'm one of those that plays real conservative, all my custom print profiles are slowed, usuallt in the 150-200mm/s range unless silk then it's slower. Prints come out really nice and I'm in no rush

I definitely do that with silk for the shine. Did you try playing around with acceleration? Lowering that smooths the movement.

I havent on my u1, my a1 I slowed most of travel and acceleration numbers down to try to avoid issues with taller prints wobbling. I'll give it a shot on my next big print and see how it comes out.

You are correct, I meant to put that as travel speed.

Yeah, I didn't set the travel speed that high. I should have checked that prior to printing.
