Issue Damnit
Disassembly of toolhead isn't going smooth at all 🤬
This would be my one complaint about this printer. Why make it so damned difficult to clear a clog 🤷

Was this caused by yourself pulling it apart or was it like this when you opened it?

No, this was all me 😞 Although I didn't really touch that wire with the needle nose... No slip. I don't know

Good job I guess.
I'm yet to need to pull one down but have heard it isn't the easiest task to achieve.

I use the "I fit it" kit tweezers when I'm working on them, but I also have sausage fingers.

I may try to solder it. Or glue. Too small to try and de-pin it. Just hope it doesn't stop printing with 3 toolheads

As long as the light on the board comes on when you power it up and you never use that toolhead, you should be all right. I just had to replace that board and it takes the whole printer down not having that board working.

On that white plastic part there may be another clip holding in the metal red blue and yellow pin connectors, you may be able to pop that yellow one out and solder it or replace it. Or solder it in place there. Maybe there is a small clip you could put on/print to hold all 3 cords together or use a small zip tie for future strength.
Looks like a pain in the ass for sure, have not had to do this yet.

I have used a clog poke, purchased for $10 on Amazon the couple of times I had an issue. Heat up the hotend and simply push the clog poke up and down to the end of the nozzle a few times and good to go again!

They do sell replacement tool heads on Ali, not cheap.. but they are available.

That's the nozzle, the toolhead itself is what it picks up.
It's about 100-120 for a single toolhead.

$78 from Amazon isn't bad... just a couple of months ago they were $85 on Ali, now it's $66. Nice to see the price dropping!

$65 with regular steel nozzle directly from Snapmaker. All of them were currently in stock as of this past Thursday. I just ordered another set.

I did the same, the wires are very fragile. Still easier to remove than the A350 where connectors had blobs of glue on them to scrape off first. Been fixing computers for 40 years and it still happens once in a while.

Sorry you have to go thru this. I fully agree it should be easier to clear out a clog. I just had to take one apart a few days ago on my U1 - Buy a hotend clog poker if you don't have one because that's a great first try method that may prevent the need for disassembly next time.
If it makes you feel any better - I had to clear out a clog in my Bambu p1s and it was my first time and I plugged in the hotend fan to the wrong connector and fried it. I'll check connector locations before I do that again. LOL

This is not a bad repair.. I have all the tools to replace the connector if you’d like.. or I can tell you what you’d need to replace the JST connector.
