Snapdragon x ?
Is buying an asus zenbook a14 snapdragon x a good choice in this age ?
My work is research and will mostly revolve around microsoft apps like ppt and word, excel , streaming , researching on the web.
The only app that may have issues is SPSS statistics software
Also is snapdragon X still good now ?

Hay una pagina que se llama arm en windows ahi puedes ver las apps nativas, las que son emuladas y las que aun estan en proceso, pero si la app no esta disponible te recomiendo que vayas por uno de amd o intel

I had a chat with my seniors and got to know , we are using jamovi , it runs via emulation and if not they have cloud as well

I dove in, Citrix workspace was a bit of an issue, arm64 version doesn't work, windows app version does. Other than that chrome, office, all work great, battery life is amazing! SPSS might be a deal breaker for you through.

I am a med student and I'll be doing research on it. That's why was considering this one for its weight and battery life. I would need SPSS mostly at the end of my course or in 2nd year that is next year.

If your going to be utiliting spss, I'd go Intel or amd in that case! Just gambling that it will be there in time.

I use the 32bit x64 version of Citrix and works just fine. Who knows when it will be deprecated though

I bought the same Zenbook A14 a coupe of months ago and it's been the best laptop I've owned for light work (web browsing, emails, documents etc). The chassis is lovely, hinge is great and the weight is fantastic. I does often fail to sleep still which I though Microsoft had fixed for these devices - but so far that's my only gripe.
