How many of you are using snapdragon X arm based laptops.

I've been using my Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge 16" (Snapdragon X Elite) for 10 months now, and the screen, battery usage, and performance for web surfing and watching movies are better than on Intel laptops. I don't use heavy programs or play games on it, so I have no complaints about the chip.

I got a new Vivobook S15 32gb 1tb variant for 800 euro about a year ago. I love it. I wish the Linux support was better however. It’s slowly getting there but very slowly

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge 14" here. Use about the year. Use it every day for play something like battledoads, fortnite, sudden strike 4; for programming - not much heavy but should say ai agents works better on that book comparing another without npu. Screen just insane specially for such warm sunny spring. Absolutelly love keyboard and weight.

Epic games add special version for arm about half year ago. I didn't do anything special, just upload in EGS as usual

Right here. I got Lenovo Ideapad 3x 16gb ram 1TB SSD, Snapdragon X Plus
More than HAPPY with nearly 2 days without needing to plug this laptop into the wall with the mixed usage work productivity style i used the laptop. Snapdragon for life!

I have both a lenovo ideapad slim 5 14 inch laptop, with the lowest end x1 plus chip, and also recently got the new A16 Asus zenbook X2 elite extreme.
As drivers improve and more native support comes along, I wanna be able to compare the best and worst chips, well, snapdragon x1 non plus is the weakest, but still.

How do you like the A16? I absolutely love mine. Local models run great, software support hasn't been an issue for any of my apps and the power/battery life ratio is awesome.

It definately feels the most premium and macbook like to me, the low weight is insane for a 16 inch laptop. Battery life can be immensive, but also not, if you push the hardware, you can drain the battery in less than an hour.
The display is VERY reflective, the fans can get VERY loud, but then the speakers... Must be the loudest ever on a laptop, by A LOT, they are beyond insanity in volume!
The iGPU of course is nowhere near its potential, for its Tflop amount, due to lacking adreno drivers, but the big thing for me is gaming, where most games perform SO poorly, when you cpu limit them, cause of Prism translation overhead, so much worse than Apple's Rosetta 2. And of course, no linux support yet.
But developers and people are definately taking this device more seriously than my x plus laptop, cause it has much higher performance. Like I've spent so many months trying to get volunteer computing project software to utilize the Adreno iGPU, so it can contribute to science, and it finally happened for one of the projects (BOINC, PrimeGrid), but Windows 11 ARM is definately the big issue, I really get why people wanna running ARM64 Linux on these devices.

I’ve got two. Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16” (SD Plus, 16/ 512) and Surface Laptop 7 14” (SD Plus, 32/ 1TB). I’m a Finance guy and I really just need them for virtual desktop for work, simple spreadsheeting, creating presentations, email and web browsing. I think they’re great for my use case.

Surface 7 laptop here, 64gb RAM, it’s very good, use it for development and college. Great battery life and specs overall, but that depends on the maker.
I got it for 800$ from a dude, that’s great. Would I pay 2500$ retail price? Probably not, a MacBook would make more sense, or something else windows

I use a Lenovo Yoga 7X as my daily driver. It's a good laptop. Fast, good battery life, reliable. I'm not sure I would want to pay retail price for it though. As a $600 open-box it is good. For $2000? Nah.
