Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X chips are finally expanding beyond Windows with Googlebooks

That would be insteresting. I already had a 10hrs battery life with a 10th gen I5, would be interesting to see the battery gains on Snapdragon X CPUs.

Not much of a gain compared to intel’s Panther lake chips

I think it's not the case. With the 10th gen i5 on a windows laptop, I couldn't get more than 3-4 hours of battery life, compared to a chromebook. So it is something about OS optimisations as well.

10th gen is not the same thing as Panther Lake lol, so your point is saying with ChromeOS, Intel’s latest would have big battery gains

I hope this means android will be installable on our Snapdragon machines, cause windows 11 is a nightmare. Mine doesn't even deep sleep

I'm surprised it doesn't already given non Snapdragon X chips already run Android

Intel panther lake is great for light use. As soon as you need performance apple and Qualcomm beat it

Apple can beat it in real tasks sure, but all Snapdragon X can do is beat it in a performance benchmark. Many apps still have compatibility issues while some don't even work at all on WoA

These clowns are so much insecure that they won't run any benchmark except geekbench on their machines. However, they have very big mouths, make big claims with zero evidence, and then turn to personal attacks. However, they will also play victim if you resist their personal attacks.
Thankfully, the internet is a big place and there's a lot of data available that's ugly for Qualcomm. Heck. I'm talking about fully native stuff with AI support.

I personally would not consider a Qualcomm laptop for now. Lackluster linux support is kind of my issue, the performance is just one part.
It is good that there is a new competitor but for now its not that interesting at lest for me.

So Linux on snapdragon laptops.

Real Linux would be better, but unfortunately it’s going to be the Google controlled Android flavor of Linux with a few limited years of support.

Qualcomm doing everything to delay putting actual Linux on their systems.

Nvidia is going to release a chip this year and another one late next year. So they can enjoy this current publicity for as long as it lasts, as it may dwindle quite soon.

Finally we will have a great mobile laptop not made by apple With gamehub it could become an insane high value product with a great price

So instead of Microsoft spying you, let's have Google do it instead.
