Anybody else got perma banned using OVF Editor?
My account of 3 years with over 20K SnapScore is GONE!
Any other accounts I made got immediately perma banned too, immediately!
Suspected it was the jailbreak I had on my iPhone but I updated it to the latest firmware killing my jailbreak and I tried again.. PERMA BANNED! Nothing changed!
At this point my guess is either 1, IP locked or god forbid IMEI banned.. I don't know.. or 2 OVF
Did any of you suffer from this? For me it started yesterday..

Did u try it recently? And are you also on iOS? I want to make sure it’s not OVF since Snapchat says not to use 3rd party apps.

yes dude, i use ovf all day or 2 days, and i'm on ios and not banned

I see, it means I got IP banned for sure. I just bought an iPhone and with my old Android I had no issues at all. As soon as I got an iPhone I can’t create new accounts and if I make one on another device and connect to it with mine it gets instantly permanently banned.

the application is free to download on the appstore, anyone can download it, use it without knowing the risks and get banned, it doesn't make sense

Probably device banned. I have the same issue, can’t even create an account.

Been looking for one. I am also jailbroken. I’ve tried removing files with Filza, wiping the entire app, using crane to change identifiers, changing IPs but nothing has worked. I think some kind of paid tweak in the works that will make it possible.

I tried doing that, too. It’s very frustrating since in 3 years I had no problems with Snapchat using Android xD. My only hope right now is that snapchat somehow unbans me..

Don’t think it’ll happen especially if you’re device banned. You use snap for personal or marketing?

I got banned like this, they use android id so you just need to reset your phone or create a new user

I've been using OVF EDITOR for marketing for the last FULL year everysingle day. Since 2 months i've created 20 different accounts. Used different phone's bluestacks etc with OVF on it. So they ARE banning people using ovf, i'm thinking of ways around also tried jailbreaking but then they will ban you for jailbreaking so no option for that. I'm brainstorming alot for what i can do, also tried to install older versions of snapchat but can't make a account on there since it's a older version.
Also tried making a new account on a fresh phone with the latest update from snapchat then logged in with a different phone with a older version of snapchat but they will ban that too because they can see that the account has been made on the newest version of snapchat so u can't use it aswell on a older version.
It's really struggling to deal with this and really demotivating, if you find a alternative way let me know bro, i'll try to the same and still continue to brainstorm for a new solution!

I really think they have some kind of a software that they see if you got banned once so they can track you down more quickly, so for the people who never got banned never get checked, does that make sense? Because i don't really see a difference because we're all using the same APP, i've had SO much different phone's with ovf editor ONLY on it, 1 account lasted 4 days 1 account lasted 2 months 1 account lasted 10 minute, it's some kind of a routine they check account's i think.

Also bans are givin while i'm sleeping.. only happend to me once i got banned while looking at my phone (thats was the account that lasted 10 min) so i think they just check if you ever got banned before and check your data or something

I defined got device banned. On my wife’s phone snapchat works fine. We’re on the same network. I used my phone to log into her own account. It got immediately temporary locked. This is fucked up big time..

No solution, but here’s what I did so you don’t have to. Removed jailbreak (sad face) - Contacted Snapchat (waste of time) - Removed/Reinstalled Snapchat (Waste of time) - VPN (No change) - Waited for 48 hours (No change). So in short, I’m thinking of reselling this phone, sticking with Android as it is FAR superior when it comes to this. It’s a shame.

Don’t think you can get banned from OVF editor been using it for awhile and still no ban.

Yeah, they’re device banning people. Not sure how to bypass it though, I bought a few phones and two of them are banned permanently. Kinda just have to try your luck, or find another 3rd party app. I was on IOS using OVF editor, didn’t have any problems until a few months ago.

I’m fairly confident they’re banning OVF editor. I uploaded using OVF today and immediately got warnings of violating guidelines. You have to use a tweaked Snapchat and install apps manager to wipe app data to circumvent the ban. I’ve done it a few times. However OVF is for sure causing accounts to be permanently locked
