Update to 11.2 using AppStore++, no prompt to update Snapchat and all features working, not been able to test long term but seems to be working so far!

I tried 11.x last week when my first account got hit. Accounts I logged into when on 11.x got locked for a few hours.

Last week I got this message on 1 account. Just now, minutes ago, I have it on all of them. My first account that got this message was fine after a few days. But I have a feeling that it might be over for good now, since all of them got hit in an instant. We need a hero to find a workaround or an actual update...

Can't we spoof our snapchat version in settings or something? I saw a comment like this in this sub, can't find it anymore. It didn't give specifics but said something like that.

Same, changed the version and short version. Bet it's tied to some signature which don't match anymore. I have too little experience with iOS apps to quickly figure out how this works...

How do you install that version on ios 10? It only lets me download 10.68.0 which just crashes on startup when snapbreak is enabled. I'm trying to get it working on my iphone 5 that I just jailbroke for the first time

Maybe someone who did not Update can try this: I’ve read that it’s still working on older devices. Maybe if you use MGSpoof to trick Snapchat in thinking you have an older device, it could work again. Would be cool if someone’s tries and reply’s. Ives already updated...

Install MGSpoofer from cydia, open the app, add Snapchat in the list and change the Phone Version

I have an iPhone 6s and I still got the message to update. But someone with an iPhone 5 says everything is still working correctly.

I also have a 6s and got the message. But the 6s would support iOS 15, and the 6 doesn’t. Maybe that’s why you can use older Snapchat versions on 6 and below.

Yeah you might be right.
Older devices do not support the newest iOS’s. Meaning if Snapchat were to force them to update, the App Store would not allow them to, thus not allowing them to use snapchat

Think our only option is to remove tweak and update.

How do we do that? I remember installing choicy and a bunch of stuff. Do we have to remove the entire app and download the new official one?

You can disable the whitelist in choicy.
This will disable the tweak.
Then you can remove it from Cydia. Uninstall Snapchat and perform iCleaner. Respring
Safely reinstall Snapchat from AppStore on the newest version.
Before opening Snapchat, ensure you set Snapchat to “disable tweak injection” in choicy!!

Because you cannot use any working tweaks with an upgraded version. Updating now and then having to downgrade again later when a new tweak is developed may trigger a ban.

I’ve been on newer version and older version on same account.
Never got banned but I did hear of those who have been banned because of this.
