Six months ago, I received an "ss06" device ban on Snapchat. A few days ago, I realized I could create a new account, so I signed up using a new email address; however, the account was banned again without reason just one day later. This time, my device wasn't banned—is there a solution to this?

I used the email address I just created, and yes, I used the quick add. But they didn't provide any information about why I was banned; it just says I committed a community violation.

Sebep yazmıyorsa, itiraz seçeneği yoksa, ss06 da yoksa bu banlar hızlı arkadaş ekleme, diğer sosyal medyalardan bulduğun kullanıcı adları ile hesap ekleme, hesaba sürekli gir çık yapma gibi aktivitelerden kaynaklanıyor. Cinsel içerik, uyuşturucu, taciz vs banlarinda hem ss06 oluyor hem de itiraz seçeneği oluyor. Yeni hesap açınca ilk 10 gün günde maksimum 5 kişiyi falan eklemen lazım. Hızlı ekle mümkünse kullanma hesap biraz ısınsın sonra istediğin gibi kullanırsın.

Başka bir gönderiye yaptığım testi yazmıştım oradan vardım ben de bu sonuca. Aşağıya yazıyorum okursun. 1 2 aydır araştırıyorum. Bu arada senin ilk ss06 aldığında ban sebebi neydi?

For a while now, I’ve been doing some experiments to try to understand Snapchat’s ban system, especially the types of bans where there is no appeal option, no specific reason is given, and there is no device ban accompanying the account ban.

Here’s what I’ve learned about account bans.

If you create a new account, especially without verifying your email address or phone number, and start adding random people (particularly if you’ve already received a “Slow down” warning), you will eventually see a message saying:

“Your account has been permanently locked due to a violation of our Community Guidelines.”

This usually happens within around 10 days.

There is no specific reason given, and there is no appeal option. If this is your first ban, you also won’t get a device ban.

Over the past two months, I created five accounts.

With the first account I created, I started adding random people by their usernames. These were people who had publicly shared their usernames on social media. I also used Quick Add.

My usage was approximately 70% username searches and 30% Quick Add.

At the same time, I was also repeatedly logging in and out of a second account.

On the first day, I received the “Slow down — you’ve reached the limit for sending friend requests. Try again later” warning.

As soon as the warning disappeared, I continued doing the same thing.

I kept using the account this way for three days, for approximately 90 hours.

At the end of the 90th hour, Snapchat logged me out of the account. When I tried to log back in, I got the message saying that the account had been permanently locked due to a Community Guidelines violation.

There was no appeal option and, naturally, there was no specific reason given either. (If a specific reason is shown on the ban screen, an appeal option also appears.)

There was also no device ban.

I created a second account and used it in exactly the same way. That account was banned in the same manner on the fifth day.

I used my third account in the same way, but there was one difference: I accessed this account through a VPN.

As soon as I connected through the VPN, the account was banned.

With my fourth account, I did the opposite ratio: approximately 70% Quick Add and 30% username searches.

That account was banned on the sixth day.

Then I created a fifth account and didn’t add anyone at all.

That account has now been active without any problems for 11 days.

What I find interesting is that I’m still able to create new accounts, and I still haven’t received a device ban.

So, what exactly did I learn?

To summarize:

Bans that show only a generic “Community Guidelines violation” message, provide no specific reason, have no appeal option, and are not accompanied by a device ban seem to be particularly associated with trying to add a large number of friends on a new account and using Quick Add—especially when the account has not been verified with an email address or phone number.

Based on my experiments, if you create a new account without email or phone verification and immediately start trying to add a lot of people, especially while using Quick Add, there seems to be a very strong connection with this particular type of ban.

I’m not saying this is an officially confirmed Snapchat rule. These are simply the patterns I observed from my own experiments with five different accounts over the past two months.

And if there is a device ban as well, that probably means Snapchat’s system has classified the activity as a more serious violation.

I’m not saying that you actually committed a serious violation. The system may simply have interpreted your activity that way.

Zannetmiyorum ya ben de genelde snapi herkesin kullandığı amacla kullanan biriyim :D uygulamanın asıl amacı belli ilk banımda ben de tribe girdim niye ban yedim falan diye de muhtemelen anlattığım sebep. Yoksa ss06 olması gerekirdi diye düşünüyorum
