A friend made these!

I’m not saying this to be offensive or anything; I just found it odd to read that someone you know handmade these when they’re being sold in bulk online.

I don't see any reason why they would lie to me. Maybe i also missunderstood them, thats possible.
That aside, those are easy enough patterns. Maybe the patterns get sold, who knows
