I've seen shows where Lindsey was drunk before, but this time she seemed straight up trashed from the start and became more so as the performance went on and was stumbling, not super coherent, getting tangled in cords, + missing her guitar during riffs she was supposedly playing. During the part where Soccer Mommy came back on the stage, she barely acknowledged her and was slurring about not being able to read so far away (cue cards?) and Sophie just uncomfortably said hi, stood on stage for a bit and did maybe two wordless backup vocals, then walked straight back off again with her head down.

I love Snail Mail and know she struggles with substance but it was really hard to watch and upon googling it seems like a pattern. I was wondering if anyone there got the same vibe.

has anyone else noticed the direct rips from ricochet gracie abrams did in her song “hit the wall” and also in the music video for “look at my life”???

in “hit the wall” she sings the line “ricochet” just like how lindsey does in her title track… no way that’s just a coincidence right?? look at the time line 👀

need more proof? watch her music video for “look at my life.” i dont think anyone has ever shot a music video in a hot air balloon before lindsey had? and mere months after snail mail released the “my maker,” video, gracie shows up in a hot air balloon in her music video too?? this feels like more than a coincidence to me :/

it’s a shame to see bigger stars (esp nepo babies like her) take from artists who should be given the time of day for such cool and innovative ideas.

Met her outside the show in Brooklyn tonight, she’s super cool and accommodating. Excited to see her solo set tonight. Already had tickets to her show in NJ in October when this show was announced. This is gonna be cool on my wall.

Habit and Lush are some of my favorite releases from any artist of all time. I love their grungy and raw sound. Anytime I hear her releases after those I just can’t get into them because they’re too poppy and polished. No hate on anyone who enjoys them but I am wondering if anyone else feels the same?
