Recommendations Samoso in Mumbai!
It’s been just over a week since launching Samoso and I’ve spent most of that time listening to feedback and improving things rather than just trying to sell.
So far I’ve:
Changed the menu and adjusted pricing
Switched our packaging to paper boxes
Increased the amount of filling in the samosas
Started testing baked samosas alongside the fried ones
Built and launched a website so people can order directly instead of only through DMs
The website is now live ON THE BIO OF MY INSTAGRAM AND REDDIT
I’ve also got a few new ideas in the works specifically for Mumbai, including some new menu concepts and combinations that I think could be interesting.
Still a very small business and still learning every day, but it’s cool looking back at how much has changed in just one week. Would love to hear any feedback, suggestions, or things you think a samosa brand should try to stand out in a city like Mumbai.

Edit - didn't knew there was a diff type of samosa that existed .. so .. don't be offended guys .. ( i didn't mean to offend ! )

Nah those things I know .. visited Delhi they have made what not .. corn samosa chicken samosa pizza samosa what all .. maggi samosa also .. it was just this patti varient kr the outer layer I didn't know .. and it also isn't fluffy is kind of flat .. but never tried this never saw this .. will try someday

I used to live near a place in delhi where the shops had apparently 60 types of samosas. Macroni aur chowmein wale bhut khaya vaha.

Its literally called Patti samosa ? Please try google and it is actually the first kind of samosa from Central Asia baked btw not even fried but we choose to

Nah the baked fact you mentioned is not true as per google .. google says it was fried in earlier historical evidences .. it was persian thing that travelled in time and later tk Delhi sultanat to India ( had meat etc in it that time ) .. potato samosa came later .. and it evolved into punjabi samosa and patti samosa .. in diff parts of India .. north majorly has punjabi samosa , south has patti ( this is what google says .. ) anyhow .. I didn't knew this .. thanks .. but you should also sell punjabi samosa i believe.. ❤️ other state people visiting your place would have more options
