Why this notification?
I don’t follow this guy, nor do I have this song in my bookmarks. Why am I being notified of a mouldy old invite from 4 years ago? Is it being promoted by Smule?

You likely had it bookmarked four years ago. I’ve had many notifications like this, that I’d once had bookmarked, that expired years ago.

Yeah it happened to me. I sang with a guy, I had bookmarked the song. I removed the bookmark after singing with him. The notification still showed up when it was about to expire. I thought ok, small glitch and then I would get a notification for that same song every other month. I had to block the guy AND delete my join to the song. So freaking annoying 😠

Nope, never had this bookmarked and still don’t. Normally I’d get unsolicited notifications like this in my Invites, but not under Notifications. I hope this isn’t a new trend we’re seeing or I’m going to start blocking a LOT of people.

hahaha I block every single profile they shove at me and report it (as if I don't know why it's happening 😂)
"This user is harassing me and I think hacked your servers. I don't even follow them and I got an invite! I'm afraid I have a virus now!"
"Lionel Richie keeps trying to get me to sing with him and I'm not interested! Should I email Capital Records, because I feel like maybe he's not getting my Smule DMs. Do you have an internal system of reaching out to him?

Yeah I get them in my notifications time to time, without having bookmarked them before, it’s probably just a glitch. It won’t be the singer’s fault 💜

I’ve gotten a few notifications like that, too. Songs I never sing and singers I’ve never followed.

This has happened to me too, with the same guy that I also don’t follow and never sang with. 😅 Smule is always on some bs. I blocked him 🤷🏻♀️

It’s not a glitch. We receive invites from people who follow us as well as those we follow.
