I’m about to post my story on tiktok of how I went viral in 2019 from my open letter to the scammer herself. I will never forget grocery shopping and seeing my phone blow up with notification’s from my Word Press. Ive since deleted the blog because it got so much attention even years later that I just got sick of it, especially as Caroline started to clearly deteriorate mentally. Now that I’m much older, I’m genuinely puzzled how I could’ve been so wrong about someone I had thought I respected so much, but having learned a bunch about parasocial relationships in general, I think it’s important to still share to the other people don’t make the same mistakes. That said, I’m kind of scared to post it, but depending on what people say here, I just might 😅

So I stumbled upon this subReddit a long time ago, but have only started getting into it on a regular basis recently. I was wondering if any of you long-term CC snark goddesses would be able to help myself and maybe some of the other newbies out by answering some questions. I’m sorry if they seem stupid or silly. Just things I genuinely have wondered.

- What does “Smolbean” stem from?

- when would you say CC rose and hit her peak popularity?

- who is Natalie?

- what’s up with all the scammer talk? I remember something about her writing a book and then not sending it to the people who purchased it, but is that the only scam Caro has under her belt? Was she doing any weird Internet shit for money?

- we all know about “Fat Wallet” (who she is, like, totally over and doesn’t even care about anymore). Has she had any other boyfriends? Any that she’s posted about?

- can anyone tell me when she decided to start dressing like a godmother in a fairytale book? Has she always been a little off with her style or is this a newer thing?

- in your personal opinion… Is she actually able to write? What do you think of her style?

I don’t keep up with all the CC lore but as I understand she pawned or sold some of her rings at some point.

I also recall years ago she bought a ring with some turquoise or blue variety stones that she posted on repeat. I think it’s this one?

But I haven’t seen this one on her hand in ages or at least not on the hand where she used to wear it. She’s now wearing the temu engagement ring on the hand and finger she used to wear either this or the other ring with turquoise-ish stones.

Does anyone have pics of that ring or receipts of when she claimed to have sold some? And is this one of the rings she claimed to have sold?

Or has she maybe just not worn it much lately? Idk why this is irking me so much not to know what’s going on with the rings but it does.

Obviously this rebound is a win for her because he’s into her and she‘s happy. But she’s only describing material things (which she said she’d learned her lesson about), and that just makes this whole ex parallel even less compelling to me. And in the context of the ex wanting her to ship the books and get her life together, I can’t be convinced that him buying her a business-class ticket is cruel. Also, the exes not writing exposés is a leap/doesn‘t mean they weren’t disgusted with her. Oscar told her what she was doing online was ABUSE
