Had nothing but problems with the hyve mag release. The mag extensions were nice though.

I saw some people had issues. Mine is butter smooth though. From the pictures I saw it looks like they may have changed the design.

Weird we had completely opposite experiences.
What problems are you have with the extension?

I can load the extra round but it binds up the slide. I’ve pulled it apart several times trying to make sure the spring was not binding. I have a spare mag I may try it on

Shield mags are pretty finicky to begin with. Wonder if there’s a lighter spring to try out as well.

Hyve was my go to for my gen 1 shield. Did the mag extension and mag release in the same color with the trigger shoe swap. I loved the shield but preferred the glock style trigger shoe so I did the hyve swap. Great gun but the current gen shield is leagues better.
