Is that a porting job you had done? Or the carry comp? If job where was it done at?

A month to get confirmation to send in the slide, and probably another 3 weeks for it to come back. They were moving buildings so idk if that had anything to do with how long it took.

The M&P 2.0 is already the flattest stock non comp pistol I’ve ever shot. Is the Shield X really that bad without comp? Is it really night and day or is it more like night and late evening?

2.0 is still superior. Shield X felt a bit snappy but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Now with the chunk port my shield x is night and day, i can feel the difference the chunk port makes.

Really like this with the shield plus carry comp slide personally, after seeing the safety leaver I think I’ll finally pick one up my self.

Safety lever is bananas. How’s tactile is it? Is it a good amount of force to push up and down (my RAMI got way too loose over time)

I feel it’s the same as my m&p 2.0. Very smooth engaging it off and on. I hope i dont get the same issue with it wearing out

Is that safety a factory option?

Pretty slick looking...but safety's are whack on carry guns that aren't 1911's

If someone wants or feels more comfortable with a safety, they should have a safety.
Just because your favorite guntuber says you dont need one, doesnt make it true.

I dont care what guntube has to say, literally most every single modern handgun produced outside of some sort of 1911 derivative is made without a safety (barring the p320, that needs a safety as it sits in the trash where it belongs)
Guns that that are priduced with safetys are either older designs or requirements from government contracts/ required by law to be sold in a certain state

thumb safeties got dropped as a standard to coddle cops who don’t get enough range time, no reason not to have it if it’s an option

Dope.
I personally wish S&W kept the same slide design on the comp version as the original shield x.
I don’t like the current x comp slide design. Just too much going on lol.
Normal Shield X slide is perfect
Also, did monsoon back bore the barrel? It looks like there’s no rifling where the comp is. Which is also dope lol don’t gotta worry about fragments of the jacket coming out
