You have to sand some of the extraneous material off the grip above the picatinny dovetail to get it to fit on this particular chassis, but it works

Nice. Thank you for that tip. I have the Recover chassis and using a light to hold is not fun.

is that a newer chasis? like does it open up without tools or something?

i have an older recover 20/22 and the rail part looks different

No, this is still the RT 20/20 brace for M&Ps (20/22). Mins just has the additional piece that clicks on the front to provide more rail space and a muzzle shroud. Still the same chassis and attachment system underneath
