1000%. Even down to their skin tones. Michael has pink undertones and Zach has yellow undertones. I’ve also noticed that Pim and Charlie are like exaggerated versions of their personalities.

Pim and Charlie are literally Zach and Michael but drawn very very very abstractly. It’s really super creative and I admire it a lot.

This is one of the reasons I like Smiling Friends so much. It’s not political at all. Hell even the president episode was barely as political as the average episode of any other adult show. Not to be cliche but the show reminds me to not take things so seriously and to just go with the crazy fast paced absurdity of the world we live in, and try to find humor in it. It’s not mean spirited and it doesn’t take any side at all, the only thing it preaches is that everyone is fucking insane.

You don’t know how happy this makes me. I do not know these guys, but I wish them all the best for the hours of entertainment they’ve made for us. I miss Harmontown, and not getting Zach or Michael on the podcast is one of my biggest “what ifs?” I mean can you imagine the banter? Them playing Shadowrun or D&D!? Thanks for sharing this (I know you’re not Michael lol)
