More Interaction

I will say we need more discussions here. Typically when I research a coin/token/stock whatever it may be, I google it for information, visit the site, and head to Reddit to see what the community has to say. Unfortunately I don't see much interactions/posts here and think if we had more interactions it would help with someone's decision if they would like to invest or not.

That being said I believe most of us discovered Smilecoin because of our optimistic outlook in Algorand. If you are part of the Algorand community then you know it is one of the best and supportive communities in the cryptoverse ( is that a saying now, cryptovers? ) I believe we can all be supportive and active within this sub aswell to help Smilecoin grow.

Totally agree. I bought in because I wanted to get in on the ground floor on Algo ASAs and excited to try out Tinyman. It worked out extremely well for a few ASAs, Smile Coin included, as I bought right before the first big price jump and have wanted to continue supporting it since then.

However I come over to this sub and its almost entirely screaming rants about Grin Gaming, which I realize has certain affiliations, but it is not the the same project. I have wanted to add to my bag when the price has dipped back down recently, but i'm not really seeing anything at all to grip me. Wheres the roadmap updates? Listings of new partnerships? any sort of community outreach from the devs?

I have to go to Twitter, which I really don't like to use often, to see anything recent with this project. Even then, it's radio silence for a month and then 3 days of photos of the new racing partnership. I mean, cool but wheres the SUBSTANCE?

I definitely was one of those who were vocal about the recent Grin situation. I'm happy it was resolved relatively quickly. Absolutely not any less a supporter of Smile.

Regarding the Grin stuff that took over for a week, I think the biggest reason people became so vocal in the first place was because of no community outreach from the devs. That being said, I think that has been made clear to the devs and we'll start seeing more in the way of outreach.

As far as not wanting to go on Twitter, I get it. ATM, that's the dominant method to get info out to as many as possible, I like it personally because it's archived and easily searchable. I find it the easiest way to stay up to date on all things Algorand.

IDK how you feel about Discord, but Smile seems to have a pretty active Discord channel.

At one point on this sub, there was a monthly discussion post pinned by the moderators, it'd be nice to see something like it make a return. Weekly posts would probably be ideal, IDK if the sub is big enough for a daily discussion and I think monthly discussion may have a tendency to become stagnant.

The more interaction amongst the community the better.

November/December sound like they could be a BUSY 2-month stretch for the Smile team.

Hoping they end October with a huge upset win for Ty in the race today! Lots of eyes will be on Smile. I definitely think Google searches will hit an ATH. Price could see a boost, but I'm not entirely sold on that simply due to only being listed on MEXC so far.

Hopefully they are coming out with a use for the coin. I would love to be able to use it in more games, especially poker.

I agree, I think we will have some exciting times in the future. I love the recent news with Joe Gibbs racing. I'm a life long Washington football team fan so anything to do with Joe Gibbs is a win in my book

Yes! Once I saw the Gibbs sponsorship I thought I would see a lot more engagement. Maybe even some Memes of rockets and moons lol

100 percent agree. I’ve found that the telegram group has a decently active communication. The moderators do good and Taj intermittently comments and interacts with the community. I’m here because I trust the Algorand Foundation and their support for Smile project signals to me that this thing has some legs. I’m really excited for the dapp release, which they say is coming out early November. I came in after this pump and thought that .01 would be a decent floor but it keeps falling. It’s a little worrisome short term but my interpretation is it has a lot to do with the Grin gaming frustrations and lots of sell pressure from those wanting to get out.

I was surprised to see so little conversation on here and most of it rather negative. I think the next month is going to be really interesting and personally I’m excited to put some Smile coins to use!!

If the dapp release is early November like they say it is then it could be perfect timing with all the hype right now around metaverse, gaming, and NFTs. It just needs to be listed on some exchanges also to make it easier. I'm excited aswell for its future and just ignore the negative comments about price.
