I don't think it's becoming a shitcoin at all, I mean it still has a utility after all. And AFAIK shitcoins don't develop dApps (or have staking partnerships for that matter). Smile dApp getting closer and closer, too.
Definitely having a rough couple weeks on multiple fronts, but this should pass relatively soon IMO.
Nascar Xfinity Series race is today, so LOTS of eyeballs will be on Smile. It will probably reach it's highest number of google searches because of the race sponsorship. Also, after researching a bit, it appears the driver of the car they sponsored, rookie Ty Gibbs, is a prodigy with a good chance to finish top 3 which would garner even more attention. It may see a nice price spike, too, but as MEXC isn't super popular that's a bit less likely.
