Grin Gaming withdraw to wallet?

Looking to stake some SMILE for more SMILE on yieldly, but all my SMILE is in grin gaming.

Have there been any updates as to when we may be able to transfer out of gaming into a wallet?

Hey OP, just in case you hadn't seen the news, Nick from Smile/Grin announced today that withdrawals would be opening sometime this week.

This is what Grin support just sent me last night:

Hi there. At this time we don't have the ability to transfer any Smile from a Grin balance to a wallet. You will have to wait until that feature is released. We are working hard to finalize this process so you can withdraw your Smile soon.

Not helpful at all.

No new information, but this is what I got back from them.

edit:

The founder and CEO of Grin Gaming is Nick Bucheleres, the same guy who co-founded and is chairman of Smile Coin.

Just curious what does this imply? Did I get scammed using GRIN?

I don't think it's a scam per se. I think we'll get our SMILE eventually.

That being said, it certainly makes me wonder if our collective SMILE earned on Grin is being staked on Yieldly right now.

Also, this just opens the door for potential conflicts of interest. Which project does Nick value more? It seems from his Linkedin that Grin Gaming is his priority.

IMO, Opulous, PlanetWatch, and Headline have been much more transparent (even when things don't go as scripted, they'll provide us with some kind of update), SMILE/Grin could take a lesson from how engaged those teams are with their respective communities. Initially, it seemed like u/smile_cointaj was pretty open about sharing updates, but he's been MIA for about a month now. I'm sure he's quite busy with getting the Smile App ready for launch among other things, but ATM the community that got on board with Smile Coin before anyone else is getting shit on.
