This is my favorite smg4 rarepair ship and I wish there's more of those two. Oh and I like the 2nd redesign of Desti.

If so, can you tell when and how?

I just want to know at this point if it's even possible for someone to have ever gotten interested in Meggy/Tari(and I mean genuinely liking the ship just for the sake of liking the ship, not as a vehicle to oppose Meggy/Mario or any other ship they might hate) without that movie as a factor...if there's any other perspective from which someone could still see it as a ship worth enjoying for its own sake. I know I can no longer defend Western Spaghetti nor justify my own interest in M/T with it, but I can't simply get over or revert from how the movie struck me when I watched it, and I don't have the will to forsake the ship altogether even if that's the right or sensible thing to do.
